Flowers should be refrigerated following the wedding. Once we have the flowers, we will thoroughly photograph it, sketch it and then go through a 12 to 16 week process of painstakingly disassembling the bouquet and hand drying every petal and leaf in handmade presses. Most of the time your bouquet is with us, we are making sure the leaves and petals are completely dry, otherwise, they will mold or decay if taken out of the presses too early.

Once the flowers are dried and pressed, we will call to arrange a layout and design meeting to discuss framing background fabric choices, as well as answer any other questions about the design you may have at that time. Background fabrics range from polished cottons to dupiani silks and velvets. You will also be given the choice of using your own custom fabric or frame that may be important to you, as well as any other personal items.

Once you have made your choices, we will complete the final piece, and then arrange a mutually-agreeable time for you to pick up your treasure or have it shipped to you. We will also advise you on hanging it properly so that the bouquet will be away from strong natural or artificial light, which could accelerate the discoloration of the flowers.

Every finished preserved bouquet is unique in it's size, complexity and design, as is a bride's budget. Therefore, we offer you a range of choices from smaller 8x10 frames that begin at $150 to larger 14x18, 16x22 or 20x20 frames that begin at $275 and may go up to $475. We break the payment into three stages. We require a $100 deposit when you decide to book our service. At the layout and design meeting, we require a second payment and the balance is due when the final bouquet is received.
